Top 11 will now be Top 16! 
I was making my own little list of who I thought would be chosen for the remaining Top 10 candidates tonight and finding it rather difficult. As it turns out, Tourism Queensland was having a rather hard time with it too! So, in a shocking last minute turn of events, they’ve announced that they will be selecting FIFTEEN candidates (in addition to Clare — Wild Card Winner) instead of the original ten!! I LOVE IT!! Oh Tourism Queensland, you’re always keeping us on our toes!
The Top 15 candidates will be notified by phone tomorrow between 10 and 11pm UTC (3-4pm Vancouver time). The remaining 32 candidates will see the results at the same time as the rest of the world (11pm UTC) on http://islandreefjob.com

I wouldnt be surprised if they resort to coin flipping to decide the final winner. Or maybe announce that they need 10 caretakers because the GBR is so huge! ‘course they would all be getting 150 grand for their time slicing significantly into the Queensland Parks budget…But, Hey! Think of the publicity! Like, the next time they run something like this there would be like half the planet bidding for it! The mind boggles.…:)
10 caretakers x $150,000 each = $1.5 million That’s not much considering they’ve already received over $70 million worth of advertising so far.
It’d be great if they would hire all 15 candidates!
