Marcella, Erik and I got together on Friday night to celebrate being in the Top 50 one last time. We decided to go to Steamworks, since that’s where we first met each other on March 3rd. I’ve said this many times before, and I’ll say it again: I couldn’t have asked for better fellow Vancouverite candidates! <3
We had a few beers and vodka and talked about everything from the Best Job in the World campaign and how Erik originally thought of me as his “nemesis” (that still makes me laugh!), to our favourite international dishes, random stories about run-ins with the law, career options, favourite bands and movie trivia (it turns out Marcella and I share a love of My Fair Lady). We went on for so long that when we finally checked our watches, it was nearly 1am (we met up at 9pm)!
Erik knew Marcella and I were dying to check out The Province headquarters (which is conveniently located across the street from Steamworks). So after drinks, we made a quick stop to his office for a tour and pictures before calling it a night and heading home around 1:45am (much to Erik’s wife’s dismay). 
Good luck Erik and Marcella!! I’m crossing my fingers for all three of us to be in the Top 10!
