G’day all! ? something I learned from watching ‘Crocodile Dundee’ last night 
It’s 6:26am and still pitch black out, but I’m wide awake and wired like a High School Musical character on crack! Gotta love a mug o’ Starbucks at 2am in the morning (when I woke up).
Why did I get up at such an absurd hour in the middle of the night? Because Erik and I had an interview together on CTV’s Canada AM this morning.
I almost always get lost driving, so I left home a good hour before we had to arrive even though Google maps said it would only take 20 minutes to get there. I arrived so early (4am for a 4:50am interview) that McDonald’s hadn’t started serving breakfast yet! Lucky for me, the guys there were pretty cool and willing to fry up a hash brown and make a burrito for me. Thanks guys!
Our CTV interview was short this morning. Both Erik and I were expecting more questions since our pre-interview interviews on the phone were pretty extensive. But at least I was able to get my fortune cookie bit in there! lol
A couple days ago I had cracked open a fortune cookie that read “You were born with the skill to easily communicate with people.” I thought “darn, if only I had opened that one during an interview!”
So for today’s interview I cheated a bit and stuffed that fortune into a new cookie. I was hoping Bev would ask what made me qualified for the Best Job in the World so I could crack the cookie. She asked (hooray!) and I was able to read my little fortune, but I also had an unexpected good fortune message since I wasn’t able to get the real original fortune out of the cookie. The fortune read “A resort area will be part of your next holiday plans.” OoOOoOooo Hopefully my next holiday plans will be in the Whitsundays!!
